We always advise our clients to install the suction strainer below the minimum oil level of the reservoir. Unlike the ordinary strainers, our range of suction strainer elements are supplied with a bypass valve so that the high pressure drops caused by contaminated elements or high viscosity fluids during cold starting can be easily reduced.
