Hydraulic Pre-Stressing Machine

Hydraulic Pre-Stressing Machine Hydraulically operated double gun type pre-stressing unit is designed for pre- stressing of steel wires while manufacture of railway pre-stressed concrete slippers. It is operated on 3 phase AC power supply without need for neutral wire. The electric motor driven radial piston pump provides oil flow at high pressure for required stressing force. There are two guns and can be operated simultaneously or individually by simple pressing of push buttons on each gun. When pre-set stressing force is achieved, pilot lamp glows and solenoid valve is stopped automatically. The gun will remain in stressed position until retracted by second push button. The stressing pressure can be set on pressure control valves provided on operator console. The stressing can be read in terms of bar and kN on separated gauges. The values of stressing force are also indicated on digital meter. The whole unit is mounted on wheels and castors for easy movement.
