The Coated Abrasive Belts are endless jointed with certain angle and are made in different width and length. Coated Abrasive Belts are used by means of belt sander stationery or portable among which is the back stand, vertical or horizontal platens grinder, conveyorised belt grinders, center less, portable belt sanders. Belts are used for mass production work with varied applications and are important component in most workshops. The quality of finishing is influenced by a variety of factors as indicated below :  

• Belt speed : the higher the belt speed, the finish. For recommendation of speed please contact our service engineer.
• Wheel hardness : the softer the contact wheel.
• Wheel diameter : the larger diameter contact wheel.

Warning & safety guide

• When storing, make sure that belts are kept away from sources of dampness and extreme heat or cold.
• Should be kept in closed cartons until the product is actually used.
• Ensure that quality and dimensions of the belt are correct for the machine and type of application.
• Do not open the guard or put down the machine until the belt has come to a complete stand till Abrasive Belts can tear. Please take precautions against risks by tearing of belt (e.g. Protective devices, protective gloves, leather aprons, face shield, dust mask, safety equipment of machinery).
• Do not apply work pressure too heavy. Ensure enough belt tension under work load. Ensure tracking mechanism adjusted properly. When mounting, refer to direction of running.
• Belts should only be used dry unless specified as suitable for wet grinding.
• Start the machine and wait until belt has reached its full operational speed before grinding.
