Stitched Combo Mat is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins. The product is widely used in pultrusion and hand lay-up processes. The product is used most widely in the boat industry and typical end-use applications include FRP boat hulls, automotive housings and doors, laminates, cooling apparatus and structural shapes etc.

Stitched Combo Mat is a complex mat made by stitching together a layer of rovings consisting of parallel aligned rovings 0, 90or 45and a layer of evenly distributed chopped strands.

High strength and light weight
Parallel aligned fibers facilitate resin flow and wet-out
The gaps between fibers are small so that the amount of resin used can be reduced and wet-out speed increased
The multi-layer mat is stitched together with polyester thread and no binder is used
