Re is a lot of confusion about Cashmere/ pashmina as people sell simple wool or merino wool in the name of pashmina/ cashmere. We locally call cashmere as "Pashmina"

But what we deal with is is real Pashmina known as cashmere all over the world, it is made from the goat named "Changthangi" which is found in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and In spring the goat rub themselves against trees or rocks shedding hair fleece as the temperature becomes high during summers they have to shed the hair otherwise they will die due to high temperature. Then it is collected and processed in the most natural way. It's a long process, but to make it short. It is hand spun and is woven by hand. There you go, your pashmina is ready
