• Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulphonate (SDBS, LAS) is a colorless salt that can be used as a surfactant. It can be used as a detergent, in cleaning products, and in pesticides. It can also be used as a degreaser for leathers. 
• SDBS can also be used in: Water treatment chemicals, Oral care chemicals, Detergent raw materials, and Hair care chemicals. 
• SDBS is a white to light yellow sand-like solid. It is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is cited by DOT and EPA. 

Sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate is a white to light yellow, sand-like solid with oily properties. It has a strong foaming ability and is used as a detergent, in cleaning products, and in pesticides. SDBS has the following properties: Neutral, Sensitive to water hardness, Not easy to oxidation, Biological degradation of more than 90, and Recognized as a safe chemical by international security organizations.
