Our product range contains a wide range of Cinnamon and Black Pepper
This is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savoury foods. Processing of Cassia -Cassia bark comes to the factory in raw form. Upon drying they curl inwards from outer edge into round sticks. Usually it is single curled because of its thickness. Thin barks can curl from both edges making it double curled sticks. The length of the sticks may be upto 1m and thickness of bark is between 1-4mm. Sticks are sorted manually in different grades depending on its thickness, colour and quality. Curled sticks are cut into required lengths from 6cm to 60cm. Other sticks are used as broken chips or grinded into powder. Grades of Cassia Cassia Vera A & AA A is single curled thick sticks and AA is double curled thin sticks which are more expensive than A sticks. assia Broken KABC & KBBC These are sold on oil content basis.
Black Pepper is the dried berry of Piper nigrum. This vine which can grow up to ten feet tall is indigenous to India and South East Asia. Pepper is actually berries that are picked about nine months after flowering. Black Pepper, the spiciest, is berries that are picked unripe. The berries used for White Pepper are ripened on the vine and soaked so that their outer hulls are easily removed.
