Gits Food, established in 1963, is a pioneer in the Indian convenience packaged food market. Founded by H.Z. Gilani and A.K. Tejani, the company aimed to provide time-saving, natural ingredient mixes. Gits is also among the first Indian food product manufacturers to receive ISO certifications. The company is known for its quality policy: "We will not sell what we do not relish ourselves". Gits' product line includes instant mixes, ready-to-eat meals, savories, and dairy products, and they export to over 40 countries.
