Garlic powderis made fromgarliccloves that have been dehydrated and ground into fine particles. The flavor is garlicky but vastly different than fresh-choppedgarlic. It is a fine off-whitishpowder, which has a strong aroma and slightly pungent flavour. Look for a finepowderwith an off-white colour. If thedried ginger powderis really good, you can feel the strong aroma even when you sniff it from outside the pack.
