The Stainless Steel HawkinsTPan is ideal for making tea up to 6 cups at a time. It is also ideal for making coffee & soup, for boiling milk & water, for cooking instant noodles and for re-heating food.
The 4.7 mm thick sandwich bottom heats evenly, has no hotspots and stays flat. The external base of AISI 430 grade magnetic stainless steel makes the TPan Induction Compatible. It has a technologically advanced, specially designed Ezee-Pour spout for easy no-drip pouring. A strong, sturdy, stay-cool handle is firmly attached with two stainless steel rivets. The Glass Lid is made from toughened, 4 mm thick, heat-resistant glass with a strong stainless steel rim and a stay-cool knob. Glass Lid stops splatter of hot liquids and you can see and judge the tea or other food as it is being prepared without lifting the lid.
The total capacity of theTPan is 1.5 litre. However, the maximum fill level is marked on the inside of theTPan which gives a capacity of 1.1 litre (or about 4 cups).
It can be used on all domestic gas, electric, halogen, ceramic and induction cooktops.
