The Kesar mango is also known as the Gir Kesar because it was grown traditionally in the Gir region of Gujarat. It is called Kesar, which means saffron in Hindi, because of its bright orangish yellow pulp which is extremely sweet to taste
Banganapalli mangoes are basically from Banganapalle in Andhra Pradesh in India. This mango is a obliquely oval and 20 cm long in shape with yellow flesh, a firm and meaty texture which is sweet to taste and lacks in fibre.
Alphonso originated in India and is a seasonal fruit available between April and June every year. The fruit weighs between 150 and 300 grams with a rich, creamy & tender texture. The fruit is delicate, non-fibrous, juicy and sweet to taste.
