At Goodrich Gasket, we manufacture Spiral wound gaskets by spirally winding a preformed metal strip and filler on the outer periphery of metal winding mandrels whose outside diameter form the inner diameter of the gasket and superposed metal and non-metallic windings are continually wound until the required outer diameter is attained.
Phenolic laminateneoprene faced Phenolic laminate gasket [Type E & F only] between the flange sealing faces.Phenolic laminate bolt sleeves. Two insulating washers per bolt. Two plated mild steel washers per bolt. [Stainless steel washers available upon request]Use of dissimilar metallic flanges with a conductive gasket material assisted by a suitable electrolyte sets up a galvanic cell, corroding the anodic metal. It is here that the flange insulating kit gasket or insulation kit comes into use protecting pipeline flange corrosion. These insulation kits are also used to electrically isolate flange joints, preventing flow of electrostatic charges along the pipeline.
Double Jacketed GasketsFiller material enclosed by a two piece metal jacket covering both inside & outside diameters & both contact surfaces. Gasket width as narrow as 8mm can be made. A gasket with a metallic outer shell and either a metallic or non-metallic compressed fiber filler is Metal Jacketed Gasket where the filler material offers resilience and metal jacket protects the filler and resists pressure, temperature and corrosion.
Soft Gasket is a term used when referring to a gasket that is easily compressed under a low bolt load. Soft gaskets are used as heat exchanger gaskets, compressor and bonnet valve gaskets and in pipe flange applications etc.PTFE SheetFlexible Graphite SheetRubber of all grades, Cloth Inserted Rubber & Metal Inserted Rubber Gaskets.Ceramic Fiber Glass FibrePTFE Envelope GasketsVegetable Fiber SheetAsbestos & Non-Asbestos Sheet

As a result of metal to metal sealing media they are made to be free of indentations, tool marks etc and have a surface finish of maximum:R, RX 63 microinches Ra (1.6 micrometer Ra).BX 32 microinches Ra (0.8 micrometer Ra).The working of ring joint gaskets can be explained by the axial compressive load causing them to deform and flow to irregularities in the flange grooves that it seals. As load bearing area of ring joint gaskets are small high surface stresses are produced between the sealing face and the groove, making it poor in recovery characteristics and unfit for reuse.
Carbon content maintained at a maximum of .03% Recommended maximum working temperature of 1400 F.Same excellent corrosion resistance as Type 304This low carbon content tends to reduce the precipitation of carbides along grain boundaries.Less subject to intergranular corrosion than Type 304.
At Goodrich Gasket, we manufacture Non-metallic flat gaskets from arimid fiber, glass fiber, elastomer, Teflon (PTFE), graphite etc. according to ASME B16.21 which covers types, sizes, materials, dimensions, dimensional tolerances, and markings for non-metallic flat gaskets.non metallic flat gaskets are made of resilient or pliable materials and metal or non metal composites are incorporated as reinforcement or filler material. The material selected shall be compatible with the fluid and suitable for the pressure-temperature conditions of the service.
Compatible with the flange closure in which it is to be used, spiral wound gaskets can be used over the complete temperature range from cryogenic to approximately 2000F and in all pressures from vacuum to the standard 2500 psi flange ratings making it a high pressure and high temperature gasket. They are more resilient than any other type of metallic gasket with higher flexibility and recovery characteristics to maintain a seal under variable working conditions.
Soft Gasket is a term used when referring to a gasket that is easily compressed under a low bolt load. Soft gaskets are used as heat exchanger gaskets, compressor and bonnet valve gaskets and in pipe flange applications etc. As leading gasket manufacturers and suppliers Goodrich Gasket Pvt. Ltd. offers varieties of cut shape gasket material in sheets rolls out of the following soft gasket materials: PTFE Sheet, Rubber of all grades, Cloth Inserted Rubber & Metal Inserted Rubber Gaskets.PTFE Envelope Gaskets.
A laminated gasket with a metal core, covered using soft conformable sealing materials on each face of the core is a Metal Reinforced Gasket falling in the range of up to pressure class 300. The solid metal core prevents gasket blowout by providing high strength and rigidity while the soft core accounts for exceptional gasket sealing. Metal reinforced gasket manufactured at Goodrich Gasket Pvt Ltd finds its application in chemical and petroleum industries being a high temperature gasket, offering corrosion resistance and high integral jointing.
At Goodrich Gasket the following information shall be included in markings: manufacturers name or trade mark or material designation. Gaskets shall be packaged with NPS, class, gasket manufacturers name, material designation, thickness and ASME B16.21 marked or tagged on the package or the gasket. At the option of the manufacturer the DN designation may be included. NPS followed by a dimensionless number is the designation for nominal pipe size as described in ASME B36.10M and is related to the reference nominal diameter DN used in international standards. Class followed by a dimensionless number is the designation for common flange pressure-temperature ratings as given by the referenced flange standards.
The bridge-man gasket is a pressure activated gasket for use on pressure vessel heads and valve bonnets for pressures of 1500 PSI and above. The cross section of the gasket is such that internal pressure acting against the ring forces it against the containing surface making a self-energized seal. Bridge-man gaskets are frequently silver plated or lead plated to provide a softer surface and minimize the force required to flow the gasket metal into the flange surface.
A delta gasket is a pressure actuated gasket used primarily on pressure vessels and valve bonnets at very high pressures in excess of 5000 PSI. As with the lens gasket, complete drawings and material specifications must be supplied. Internal pressure forces the gasket material to expand when the pressure forces tend to separate the flanges. Extremely smooth surface finishes of 63 micro inches or smoother are required when using this type of gasket.
These gaskets are of the same material as the flanges they mate for chemical, welding compatibility and controlled thermal conductivity. The two rings are welded on their outer diameter upon assembly for achieving a fully welded joint. Weld ring gaskets used in pairs come in the same material as their mating flanges for compatibility and controlled thermal conductivity.

Offering versatility and convenience in the form of a highly conformable flexible strip is the expanded PTFE gaskets by Goodrich Gasket Pvt Ltd that is used in non-standard flange applications. It is also a backup sealing option under non availability of conventional gaskets. We at Goodrich Gasket offer PTFE gaskets with excellent chemical resistance and inherent cleanliness making the product a suitable sealing agent against aggressive media or feedstock contaminated areas. The presence of an adhesive backed strip eases the installation in large or complex flange applications, such as air conveying and solvent recovery systems
The Kammprofile is the preferred gasket when needing improved performance at low seating stresses. It features excellent anti-blowout properties associated with the reliability of a solid metal-to-metal seal combined with soft sealing face to ensure a tighter joint. Kammprofile is an ideal replacement for problem applications associated with jacketed gaskets.
We are offering corrugated metal graphite gasket. It is manufactured with a corrugated metal as core with flexible graphite sheet adhered to both gasket faces. This type of gasket makes an excellent product for both standard flange gaskets and heat exchanger type gaskets where there is low bolt load or high available gasket stresses.
