The material is composed of 100% recycled PET flakes. R-PET is produced by collecting, sorting and recycling PET BOTTLES, then refining the material into flakes that can be turned into new products. Compared to plastic resins such as PP, PVC, and HDPE, R-PET materials have high tensile yield strengths. R-PET films exhibit resistance to strong oxidizers, alcohol, and hydrocarbon solvents. In food packaging applications, R-PET films act as barriers to fat, grease, and oil. Depending on special packaging requirements, we can coat R-PET sheet with silicone or anti-static/anti-fog materials.

It is a special quality of sheet made of R-PET (B layer) at the inner layer and A-PET (A layer on top and bottom) at the surface layer on both sides. The material is thus composed of both virgin PET material and recycled PET flake at percentages specified by the customer. This brings special cost effective product for food grade /printing applications where the direst contact material of the sheet is virgin A-PET. This is widely used for Hinge -boxes, Punnets, and food containers.
