Curled Coir has versatile application. The coir serves as the base of Coir mattresses, Coir cushions, Carpet underlay, seat cushions and rubberized Coir pads.

Coir fiber is 100% natural and originates in the outer husk of coconuts – it comes from part of the seedpod of the coconut palm.
This makes coir stronger, although less flexible. Coir fiber is relatively water-proof.
The major use of white coir is in rope manufacture. Brown coir is used in floor mats and doormats, brushes, mattresses, floor tiles and sacking. Small amount is also made into twine.
In horticulture, coir is a strongly recommended substitute for sphagnum moss because it is free of bacterial and fungal spores, and produces good results without the environmental damage caused by peat mining.
