Nail Punch

Nail Punches are manufactured from selected carbon steel, accurately hardened and tempered for increased service life. Clean-cut knurled round shank provides a positive non-slip grip. The 38" (9.5 mm) square head provides a larger striking area and also prevents the punch from rolling off. The striking end is chamfered to prevent breakage. This range of punches has a black oxide finish. Nail Punches are designed for driving nail heads below the surface of wood. The working end is cupped to follow the nail head without sliding off. These can also be used to remove nails that have an exposed point. Place the recessed tip against the point of the nail and strike the punch with a hammer to back the nail out of the hole
