The break-in lubricant ensures extra lubrication during the complete operational life and dispersion acts as blocking agents as well as anti-frictional additives. This packing is Non Toxic and Inert in nature, hence, does not contaminate the fluid media. It has low coefficient of friction, thus, ensuring trouble free operation for a longer period. MI-3903 is multipurpose duplex braided packing braided from a unique Expanded PTFE Yarn intimately bonded with High Grade Graphite particles during its manufacturing. The PTFE and Graphite and excellently inherits the benefits of the polymer and the mineral. the integral Graphite, which is entrapped in expanded PTFE matrixes, provides excellent lubrication, thermal stability and high thermal conductivity to the packing. This packing is inert to virtually all chemical attacks and exhibits excellent antifrictional and heat conduction properties, thus, ensuring resistance to hardening unlike the conventional PTFE packings. MI-3908 is a duplex braided packing braided from a unique copolymer fiber yarn. This packing is impregnated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) dispersion with further incorporation of a break-in and surface run-in lubricant. The PTFE dispersion makes the packing dense and conformable while enhancing the ability of the packing to be easily installed and removed with excellent pliability.
