Potassium Cryolite

We are an eminent Manufacturer, Supplier and Exporter of Potassium Cryolite from Sarigam, Gujarat. We offer Potassium Cryolite to meet the varied requirements of clients in different industries. Processed in hygienic conditions, we make sure that our chemical is packed in high grade material so that there is no degradation during its transportation. Customers can avail customized packaging of Potassium Cryolite from us at extremely competitive rates.

Details :

  • The aluminum fluoride added potassium (potassium aluminum fluoride) or cryolite potassium (potassium cryolite) white or light gray powder is water-soluble.
  • Toxic! By anhydrous hydrofluoric acid and hydrogen fluoride alumina produced by the reaction of aluminum acid, and then under high temperature and potassium hydroxide reaction, filtration, drying, melting, broken in the system.

Features :

  • Cost effective
  • Ultra-pure
  • Fine finishing

Uses :

  • Mainly used as a flux in the aluminum smelting by fused-salt electrolysis
  • Opalizer in the manufacture of enamel
  • Opacifier and auxiliary solvent of glass and enamel
  • Insecticide of crops
  • Flux in aluminum alloy casting
  • Production of ferrous alloy and effervescing steel; as well as a wear-resistant filler for resin and rubber-boned abrasive wheels.

Properties :

  • The product is a white crystalline powder or a sandy-size granularity, and a pinkish crystalline powder or a sandy-size granularity as well.
  • Sp.gr.2.95—3.01g/cm3
  • Melting point about 1000oC
  • Specific heat 1.056j/goC at 18—100oC
  • Slightly soluble in water, but insoluble in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride
  • Content of its crystal water will decrease while increase in the molecular ratio, therefore its loss on ignition will also decrease
  • After the paste of synthetic cryolite with different molecular ratio dehydrates, the loss on ignition at 800oC will appear 10.34%, 6.22% and 2.56% when the molecular ratio reaches 1.74, 2.14 and 2.63 reactively.

Sodium Cryolite

We are a well known Manufacturer, Supplier and Exporter of Sodium Cryolite from Sarigam, Gujarat. Sodium Cryolite offered by us is majorly used as flux in aluminum smelting, but it also plays a role in manufacture of enamel and glass and as an insecticide ingredient. To make sure that customers receive a quality product, we package Sodium Cryolite within high grade materials. Clients can order bulk quantities of Sodium Cryolite at reasonable prices.

Details :

  • Synthetic Cryolite (Na3AlF6) is a white crystalline powder manufactured from hydrofluoric acid, sodium carbonate, and aluminium. The pinkish crystalline powder has sandy-size granularity.
  • Synthetic cryolite is used chiefly as a flux in the electrolytic production of aluminum as it effectively lowers down the melting point of alumina.
  • It is used in the glass and enamel industries, in bonded abrasives as a filler, in making salts of sodium and aluminum and porcelaneous glass and in the manufacture of insecticides.
  • Cryolite is a relatively safe fruit and vegetable insecticide. The fluoride ion inhibits many enzymes that contain iron, calcium, and magnesium.
