Teflon coated heaters are mostly used in the process industry for heating harsh liquids & chemicals.

 

These heaters are similar to Immersion heaters as tubular heater is welded or brazed into a flange or threads and then the Teflon is coated on to the tubes to resist the tube from corrosion of chemicals.
