Mentha Arvensis Oil is obtained by steam distillation of Mentha Arvensis Plant. It is a colourless to yellow essential oil with a fresh peppermint aroma derived from the leaves of (Mentha arvensis also known as cornmint). It contains 70% to 75% of L-menthol as its main constituent. The other constituents of Mentha arvensis are Terpenes (alpha Pinene, beta Pinene, Limonene, cineol, octanol) Menthone, Neomenthol, Methyl acetate, Pulegone etc.
It is obtained from Fractional distillation/rectification of mentha arvensis crude. It is a colourless to yellow essential oil with a fresh peppermint aroma derived from the leaves of (Mentha arvensis also known as cornmint). It contains 70% to 75% of L-menthol as its main constituent.

Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil is obtained by the steam distillation of over ground parts of Mentha piperita plant. Its main component is MenthaFuron which primarly determines the quality of this oil and the other components of Mentha Piperta are L-Menthol, Menthyl Acetate etc. The essential oil of peppermint is colourless to pale yellow free flowing liquid having Cooling, minty, sweet fresh mentholic, peppermint like odour.
