THERMOCOUPLES ARE USED TO MEASURE TEMPERATURE IN SEVERAL INDUSTRIAL PROCESS. It Consists of two wires of different metals joined at each end. One junction is placed where the temperature is to be measured, and the other is kept at a constant lower temperature. When the junction of the two metals is heated or cooled, a voltage is created that can be correlated back to the temperature. It has many types like J, K, T, N, R, S, B etc which are used as per diffferent temperature requirements.
