Valve Box (Welded below barrels) although shown of rectangular shape in drawing would actually be of Elliptical Shape.
Six nos. Bolts of size 8 x 70mm by which the Valve Box is bolted to wooden base is not shown in the drawing.
The size of various components and raw materials are of nominal size. Tolerance as per the standard specifications and manufacturing practices would apply.
Plunger Assembly components e.g. Plunger rods, piston disc etc would be either electrogalvanized or hot dip galvanized.
Bolts & Nuts & Washers would be electrogalvanized.
Metal Surface other than Barrel & Valve Box would be Painted with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamels.
Wooden surface would be given two coats of wooden primer coating.
