IAC has the capability to design, manufacture and supply Insulator String Hardware from 132Kv upto 765Kv with highly proven technologies such as forging, casting, plasma cutting, fabrication and galvanising. Each such string is designed to meet the customers tailor-made requirement by adhering to the highest quality standards.

Once the power generated has traveled over long distances via transmission lines, it reaches a sub-station where the high voltage is "transformed" to lower voltages for subsequent supply to people's homes. IAC's range of Substation hardware includes supports, couplers, connectors, expansions, taps, terminals, reducers, bus vibration dampers, stud connectors, end plugs and hardware.

Rigid spacers keep the subconductors within a fixed spacing to prevent damage caused by clashing, twisting or entwining. This is for two (twin) sub-conductors.

Over time, conductors get damaged and need minor repairs. Compression Type Repair Sleeves, which are essentially two identical aluminium pieces fitted into each other, are used to repair them.
