The information on social condition can include age, education, gender, family size, religion/caste etc. whereas economic condition includes information on household and individual income, livelihood patterns, sources of income, monthly expenditure etc. Socio-economic study enables the project developers to understand the baseline situation and/or impact of an implemented project.
