These top of the line heating cables provide both freeze protection and process temperature maintenance for metallic piping as well as non-metallic piping, tanks and equipment. The heat output of the cable is designed to change in response to the conditions along the entire circuit. When the heat loss of the equipment increases, the heat output of the cable increases. When the heat output decreases as ambient temperature rises, the cable output will decrease as well.
DLX self-regulating heat tracing protects small and medium diameter pipes from rupture and leakage caused by freezing conditions in light industrial and commercial applications. Available in 9 and 18 W/m nominal power outputs, DLX can be energized from 208 to 277 Vac. Safe, easy to install, and energy efficient, DLX is the reliable solution for your freeze protection requirements.
SX heating cables are specifically designed to maintain hot water supply piping at desired nominal maintenance temperatures. With 14 AWG bus wires (larger than any other system available), HSX can reduce the number of circuits required to install an electric heat-traced system.
