Light grids consist of a transmitter and a receiver unit with a parallel array of a large number of infrared through beams. They have a two-dimensional detection field and are used for monitoring large areas. In spite of the simple operating principle, youll find an array of specialized light grids in our portfolio: large light beam angles ensure easy alignment, Teach-in functions permit fast adjustment, crossed light beams increase the resolution of the light grids, and automatic calibration of the signal strength ensures safe operation even in dirty or dusty areas.
