Soap absorbs the natural oils present in skin and increases the chances of allergy. Most soaps have a pH level ranging between 9-10, which is too acidic for the natural skin surface which has a pH level of 4.7 on an average. Use of soap alters the pH level of the face and makes the skin rough, dry and leads to acne.
