Aerobic Treatment: Taerator bio-zone which is a combined fixed filmreactor and active aeration system mounted on ahorizontal shaft. The aerator provides a solidsurface area for micro-organisms to attachthemselves; these then feed on the organic matterpresent in the effluent. Rotation of the drumsaerates the liquid. The bio-zone is self-cleansingand does not require extraneous pumping orsludge return.Final Settlement: The treated effluent then movesto the settlement area. This area contains alamella parallel plate assembly for settling finerparticles. The submersible pump removes sludgeto the sludge storage compartment on a regulartimed basis.
