It is extensively uses in the manufacturing of Automobile Tyres, Tread Rubber, Conveyor Belts, Automotive Components & Floor Mats etc., where color of the end product is not important. Paraffinic Rubber Process Oils  are generally light in color & having wide viscosity range, higher Aniline & Flash Point. Paraffinic Oils are extensively uses in the manufacturing of butyl tubes, EPDM based rubber products such as profiles, hose pipe & automotive components. Naphthenic Rubber Process Oils  has good color stability, solubility & thermal stability. It is extensively uses in the manufacturing of foot wear, LPG tubes, hot water bags, moulded & extruded products. It may be use as a banbury lubricants in Rubber Industries.

Rubber process oils can be broadly classified into three basic groups depending on the physical arrangement of the carbon atoms namely, paraffinic, naphthenic and aromatics. All petroleum oils are mixtures of various hydrocarbon groups and their classification is arbitrary and is based on the predominance of a particular hydrocarbon group. HP ELASTO 165, 245 and 255 are predominantly paraffinic rubber process oils suitable for use as plasticizers. ELASTO 165 and 255 are highly paraffinic.
