The wood is especially suitable for constructing frames for doors and windows. Workability: The timber is reported to be easy to work and the planed surface is smooth. Glues, stains, and finishes well. Odor: No characteristic odor. Sustainability: Wood is not listed in the CITES Appendices. Common Uses: It is suitable as a general utility timber. It has also been used as posts, joists, rafters, flooring, furniture and household implements.
