Overlap RequirementsSliding doors are required to overlap the opening by a minimum of l00 mm at the top and 75mm on each sideof the opening. The Automatic Sliding Doors are widely demanded in the market due to their unmatched quality and unsurpassable performance.

Automatic OperationBitcon’s range of sliding doors are fitted with a fully automatic closing system, comprising a heat sensitive fusible link and a system of ball bearing pulleys, steel cable, weights and weight casing. The casing can be fitted at either end of the track. The closing system is static under normal circumstances, allowing the door to be opened and closed manually without difficulty. If the link fuses, the door will be moved to the fully closed position.

TrackThe door runs on two ball bearing trollies, which run in an overhead track bolted to the masonry above the lintel. Flush pull handles are fitted, and the door, which runs clear of the floor, is guided by guide rollers fixed into the floor.

InstallationIs normally carried out by Bitcon.
