Description :

• The excellent lubricating properties of ISOL AP 101 are due to the hexagonal structure of its constituent, Molybdenum disulphide, which has alternate layers of molybdenum and sulphur atoms.
• When an assembly paste is applied to metal surfaces, the Molybdenum disulphide in the paste makes layers on the metal surface known as lamellae. These lamellae are practically incompressible and thus are capable of withstanding tremendous load.
• Although the lamellae cannot be compressed, they do not resist shear forces (sliding friction). In fact they provide excellent lubrication due to their ability to slide over each other without any resistance.
• Layers formed by this paste of metal surfaces are serviceable from - 25 C to 550 C. having extremely low coefficient of friction; it protects components, during critical wear in damages, from fretting, seizure and galling. It handles extreme pressures and gives complete protection during critical start up and running in period.

• ISOL NMHT 450 high temperature extreme pressure additive, molybdenum disulfide and graphite have a natural affinity for metal surfaces.

• As high temperatures occur the High Temperature Grease will gradually soften in consistency without any drippage of the synthetic base fluids in order to carry and spread the molybdenum disulfide and graphite into the bearing clearances and onto the bearing surfaces.
• As the temperatures continues to become elevated the synthetic base fluids begin to volatilize off cleanly without leaving any residues, varnishes, gums or carbon deposits on the bearing surfaces.

Description :

• Friction in screwed thread is the main factor governing the tightening force. Insufficient tightening leads either to deterioration of functional properties of the joint or to loosening under the action of vibration or variable loads. Excessive tightening results in breakage or jamming in the thread.
• Ordinary oils and greases are unsuitable for such applications as they decompose at high temperature and under excessive moisture and environmental attack.

Description :

• ISOL CG 32 is soft; buttery textured lubricating preparations based on synthetic fluids. This grease is applied on fixed and moving, electrical and electronic contacts usually made of metal alloys, copper, silver and brass. All contacts have surface imperfections, which prevent proper mating of the contacting surfaces.
• The points where mating is incomplete, provide resistance to the flow of current and there by form hot spots. The air trapped in the hot spots leads to sparking and oxidation of the contact.
