Long rails from JSPL help in achieving a drastic reduction in the welded joints, providing enhanced safety, cost reduction and travel comfort. The company’s products are subjected to stringent quality norms and therefore match all international standards.

The rails can be supplied in a customised finished lengths ranging from 13 meter to 121 meter, a modern flash-butt welding plant equipped to produce up to 484 meter long flash butt welded rail panels is also available. The company has the facility for transporting such long rails to the construction sites.

Produced as per various Indian & international standards, these sections are superior in terms of strength, efficiency, higher axial and bending load bearing capacities, workability and economy vis-à-vis conventional tapered flange beams. These parallel flange beams and columns enable complex fabrications in high volumes due to inherent functional advantages. When used under bending load, steel savings of up to 10-25% are achieved, as beams of lower sectional weight can be used.

The plates and coils are of premium quality in terms of dimensional adherence and internal soundness owing to its clean raw material, sound steel refining facilities and an efficient rolling mill. These comply to IS 2062 specifications up to E450 grades besides a wide range of international standards and steel grades as per EN, DIN, JIS, ASTM and so on.The mill is approved by various societies such as LRS, DNV, ABS and GL for shipbuilding steel, besides, having accreditations such as:

This continuous mill is a first-of-its-kind in India, equipped with advanced rolling mill technology and equipment from Danieli, Italy. These sections are used in infrastructure, industrial construction and light construction segments such as power plants, transmission line towers telecom line towers, fabrication, bus truck bodies, electrical towers (SEBs railways), industrial sheds, commercial and individual houses, portable houses and so on.

Recognising the need for a customised solution, the company has developed the concept of ready-to-use steel through its innovative product, cut n bend bars. The ready to build customised TMT bar solution customises the lengths of the rebars and bends them at required angles in accordance with the given project requirements. This fast and efficient service caters to every kind of reinforcement requirement, redefines concepts of time and inventory management and reduces material wastage.

Another pioneering idea from JSPL, welded wire mesh is a new and efficient product which is aimed to expedite the construction process. It is a processed steel product that consists of rebars welded together to form a grid pattern.

The wire rods come with the promise of high quality and dimensional precision. The latest technology that comes with Morgan mill assures high degree of thermo mechanical properties along with unparalleled dimensional accuracy, providing consistency of mechanical properties within a coil and from coil to coil. Therefore, the wire rods are the material of choice among wire drawers across the country.

It is the only integrated steel producer who is also a large scale producer of fabricated sections with an annual capacity of over 150000 MT at three locations to cater the general market.

The company has come up with revolutionary and innovative techniques to eliminate the outdated conventional flooring system with suspended concrete flooring system known as “Jindal Speedfloor”.

Semi-finished products from the company can be delivered in a wide range of carbon steel and alloy steel grades with ultra low gas and sulphur contents. They come assured with high internal soundness and dimensional uniformity.

JPL commissioned the first unit of its 4x250 MW thermal power plant in the Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh in 2007, becoming the first private player in the country to set up an Independent Power Plant (IPP). Since then, this flagship has operated as a fully integrated power plant at an industry-leading Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 93% (average for last seven years).

The company has the world's largest coal-based sponge iron manufacturing facility at Raigarh, Chhattisgarhand stands out as the market leader in coal-based sponge iron industry within India. Efficient backward integration has rendered it as the only sponge iron manufacturer in the country, with its own captive raw material resources and power generation capacity helping the company to monitor both price and quality of its products.
