RS" Models have built-in % power regulators for manual control. Heater output may be manually set as follows: OFF, 23-70%, or ON FULL. Changes in surrounding air temperature do not affect output of heater. For the RS model, select "yes" to Built in Heat Regulator option above.
HS Series
Basic Infrared heaters without any controls built-in. These heaters will always be on with power is applied. They can be controlled with an ON/OFF switch, or with a HTP-1 Portable Heater Thermostat.
These are the most common heaters used for horse stalls or wash racks. The standard installation is to install a switched outlet on the ceiling with either an on/off switch on the wall (for stalls) or a Timer Switch that will automatically turn off the heater after a preset time (for wash stalls, tack rooms, etc.).
