REVOTHERM is the conventional forced circulation type water tube coil type boiler incorporating the unique principle of combustion known as Reverse Flow. This flow of flue gases enhances the combustion efficiency and also allows a high rate of heat release to the surrounding water coil. It can be offered in both IBR and Non-IBR designs Revotherm Construction A Water tube Coil type boiler comprises of a jacketed MS shell housing a helical coil. The combustion air is forced through the jacketed shell by means of a centrifugal blower thereby getting it pre-heated. In the coil, the flame travels downwards first because of vertical fit-up of the burner inside the coil then the flue gases reverse upwards in the same coil thereby giving two passes in the same radiant zone ensuring complete combustion and higher heat flux. The third pass of the flue gases is in the convective zone between the coil and the inner shell; here the flue gases supply heat to the external surface of the coil. Now from the boiler, flue gases then travel to the Economizer (shell and tube type design) forming the fourth pass. The inner shell separates the flue gases and outer shell.
