Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) is known as a Navjeevan Bio chemistry phosphatic fertilizer. Phosphate rich organic manure is a type of fertilizer used as an alternative to diammonium phosphate (DAP) and single super phosphate (SSP) which improve the soil texture by increasing the organic carbon phosphate content of soil and provide the organic phosphate, natural minerals such as copper, zinc, and cobalt till its generic age. Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of India has now approved Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) and included the same under Fertilizer Control Order (FCO).

Kisan Khaniz Manures may be defined as materials which are organic in origin, bulky and concentrated in nature and capable of supplying plant nutrients and improving soil physical environment having no definite chemical composition with low analytical value produced from animal, plant and other organic wastes and by products.Organic manures are included well rotten farm yard manure (FYM), compost, green manures etc. Generally farm yard manures and composts are the decomposed products of agricultural by-products (animals and crops). Whereas green manures may be defined as materials which are un-decomposed green plant tissues susceptible to decomposition in the soil after incorporation.
