Non-Metallic Expansion Joints (NMEJ) offers a number of advantages, especially in plant design and building. They take up movements in several directions simultaneously, have almost no reactive forces, need little space for installation, are easy to adapt to existing physical conditions, and they are easy to transport and install.

In the operating environment the critical stresses and movements may act in axial, lateral or angular directions and the bellows must therefore be designed and dimensioned to accommodate these movements.

Industrial Dampers are critical equipment in various places of the ducting system from the boiler to the chimney. They can be used for isolation or flow control. Different designs can be used to give 100% seal tightness for man-safe operations.

Dampers are designed on the basis of:

• Design and Operating values of the medium temperature, pressure and flow rate
• Composition and nature of the medium flowing in the ductwork
• Dust content in the medium
• Special requirements with regard to installation
• Space availability etc.

Each Damper is custom built to suit the application in question with regard to:

• The temperature ranging from -65°C to +1200°C
• Choice of material and composition
• Steel part and steel quality

Air Slide Fabrics are textile cloth fabrics and are used in air slides for pneumatic conveying of fine dry products like cements and other raw materials. It can also carry Fly Ash, Iron Powder, Gypsum and so on.

KELD can carry out duct insulation both externally and internally. The internal duct insulation is typically done with a floating plate system known as a cladding sheet. This consists of thermal insulation material covered with a cladding sheet to protect the insulation.

KELD's fabrication facility is spread over 150, 000 sq.ft. of space with a 8, 500 sq.ft. built-up shed. With the latest in sheet metal working equipment available in-house, like profile cutting machine, press brake, shearing maching, bending machine, rolling machines, several arc & MIG welding machines, drilling machines, etc.
