GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Glass Tube varea meter is a variable aperture flowmeter designed to provide visual indication of flow of a wide range of liquids and gases. The salient features of these instruments are

THE Khemas BY PASS ROTAMETER systems are designed for accurate measurement of the rate of flow for any pipeline size and metering either liquid or gas. The by pass flow s then measured with a rotameter and a factor is applied to scale it upto the maximum flow by using a range orifice. This results the bypass rotameter to function in linear scale and not in square root scale. Its only limitation is to solid particles and slurries which can clog its orifice and thus prevent proper operation. Khemas can offer various choices of bypass rotameters of glass / metal for simple indication and transmitting, alarms etc. for metal tube.

Khemas Purge Rotameters are designed for use with either liquids or gases. These meters consit of a borosilicate glass metering tube(ribbed) and ball type float housed in a body, with optional ball check valve and needle type control valve (hand operated).When, combined with a Khemas Differential Pressure Regulator, the purge meter can control a flow of liquid or gas which is subject to varying line pressure. Metal tube design magnetic indicator type purge meter is reliable for purge service at high pressures. This metal tube design purge meter also can be with needle type control valve (hand operated) and with or without differential pressure regulator. These purge meters are easy to assemble and disassemble and rugged in construction.

METAL TUBE MAGNETINC INDICATOR

DESCRIPTION

Metal Tube Magnetic Indicator is a reliable Flow meter for Purge Service at high pressures. The meter is useful for metering coolants, pump seal fluids, lubricants under pressure, opaque fluids and similar applications. The flow rate is measured by the movement of tapered plug in a fixed orifice. The indication is by magnetic follower over the extension tube coupled to the tapered plug. Float guide and check valve is standard feature.
