PC Strands are used in prestressing of concrete railway sleepers. They are manufactured in confirmation with IS 6006 - 1983. "Sleeper" is an essential and vital component of railway track. PC strands are manufactured from high quality of steel of tailor made chemistry, drawn to achieve a tensile strength of 1800 N/mm2. Wires are stranded to achieve perfect length and mechanical properties - tensile strength, proof stress, elongation and relaxation.
Mattress Spring Wires are cold drawn wires made from unalloyed high carbon steel. These wires are used for the manufacture of cold formed helical springs, spring rings and wire forms which find application in automobile, cycle and other industrial equipments.
