Upon opening the hydraulically-controlled lid, this radio looks more like a reel-to-reel player than a radio. Dual-speed, dual-direction buttons allow you to both scan through stations quickly and fine-tune a station once you've found it. OnOff and AMFM switches are built into the base, with a bright red LED signaling that power is on. Volume for this radio is controlled by a sliding switch and is amazingly loud for such a compact speaker. The Retro "Reel to Reel" radio combines the nostalgia design of days past, with a fully functional AMFM radio featuring motorized tuning. This interactive radio utilizes dual-speed, dual direction motorized tuning to move between stations and the case lid "auto-opens" at the touch of a button.
