BIOSAFFETY CABINETS Biosafety Cabinet (aka biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet) is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace for safely working with materials contaminated with (or potentially contaminated with) pathogens requiring a defined Bio-Safety Level (BSL).
