The KDS-121 Sensor measures tides in applications where a stilling well is available in a coastal tidal observatory. The gauge pressure sensor is developed indigenously and is built to exacting specifications. It uses a zero-headloss humidity trap (supplied with the sensor) in the installation to prevent moisture from entering the system. The sensor provides accurate tidal information such as real-time record of wave height and period; the memory capacity and low power requirements permit regular water level recording. It is suitable for use for ocean circulation studies, on structures like jetties, in ports & harbours, for dredging and surveying, and many other marine applications.
