Motor driven demo model with a unique idea for showing the revolution of 9 planets around the sun. superior quality with 9 planets on bakelite disc having multicolored position of all the planets has been fixed on chromium plated m.s wire. a small metal globe has also fixed to represents earth which also revolves around the sun (an illuminated bulb).all the planets revolve around the sun with the help of a motor with gear assembly. complete set up nicely mounted on teak wood base having mica top, complete with electric bulb representing sun. provided with onoff switch and light indicator. Workable on 220 volts ac 50 hzthe size of teak wood base is approximately 300 x 225 x 36 mm (l, b, h). The center bakelite disc on which planets has been fixed is about 195 mm. overall height of the instrument is about 200 mm. The earth is about 31 mm and the moon is about 11 mm. Other planets ranges from 16 mm to 29 mm and the saturn with ring dia is about 40 mm. The planets are made of abs plasticwoodmetal. Dia of bulb representing sun is about 45 mm.Please note that this model is only for teaching the basic concepts of a solar system and the motor provided in this model is of double action motor and it can revolves both side that is clock wise or some time anti-clock wise as per set up of gear assembly. Moreover we can not confirm the proportionate size, colour & distance of each planet from the sun in this small model.
