More About Tank Weighing System :

In a tank weighing system, three or four loadcells are placed below the tank or tank is suspended over the loadcells. These loadcells are connected to a Weight Indicator.
Thus, weight of the material in the tank is displayed. Also, filling & discharge of the tank can be controlled by the Weight Indicator.
When tank is filled up to a particular weight, weight indicator shall send signal to close filling valve & open the discharge valve.
Again when material in the tank reaches lower limit, weight indicator sends signal to close discharge valve & open filling valve. This cycle repeats itself.
