Conveyor pulleys are the main elements providing the transmission of torque from the drive and ensuring that belts remain taught. Drive pulleys/Head pulley is the main part for conveying bulk materials , which located at the discharge point of the conveyor it provides the driving force for the conveyor.
The purpose of Diamond Grooving on Pulleys is to wrap the belt further around the drive pulley to improve the transmission of the driving force, and to eliminate belt slip. At the manufacturing level the Surface of Pulley is Smooth Diamond grooving on the pulleys can be done by Hot / Cold Vulcanization which improves the friction between the drive pulley and the belt.
