Civil work is work that is settled and easily changed at home. This includes tiling, bathroom renovation, breaking any walls, fixing the kitchen platform, electrical work, etc. It is usually more messy and tedious compared to other things like furniture and the kitchen. Usually, when you buy a new flat from a builder, He will give it to you after the civil work is done so you should focus on the woodwork like furniture and kitchen. During the construction process, you can ask the builder to place the tiles, fittings, etc. of your choice.
Civil work usually takes a long time to complete. This creates a lot of confusion in the house, which affects the existing furniture. Day laborers who do civil works related to masonry work are very difficult to work with, and it is difficult to get this labor on your own. It also requires some schedule as multiple teams need to work in parallel and in sync to complete the task. For example, once the bathroom tiles are broken, the piping will need to be done and the masons will have to come back to fix the new tiles; Electrical work must be completed before the first coat of plastering and paint; Electrical pipes should be laid on the floor before laying tiles on them, etc.
As in our case, since we bought the old flat, we decided to do the whole civil work to get a new feel to the place. First, we decided to redo the tiles and bathrooms which means breaking down the existing tiles and bathrooms. Note that breakage adds significantly to cost and time. All existing objects should be disassembled, removed from the flat, and disposed of at the proper dumpsite using special temps that do this work. In our case, most of the delays were due to civil works. The material was not ordered in time, some of it was defective and had to be returned, the workers disappeared. The visible progress was minimal and seemed to take forever to get things done. I wrote more about the details of each aspect of the civil work.
The drinking water distribution system is a complex network of pipes and storage tanks that brings clean water to homes and businesses. It is also the pathway for contaminants to enter the system.
A variety of sources, from aging infrastructure to natural disasters, can cause drinking water distribution systems to fail. This can result in contamination of the public drinking water supply with pathogens or other hazardous substances such as lead.
A few recommendations for reducing risk in these systems in order to provide safe drinking water for all areas. These recommendations include:

video pipe inspection (cctv) is a sewer inspection service using industry-leading video cameras to prevent problems by inspecting underground water, sewer lines and lateral pipelines. our nassco certified technicians can locate clogs, investigate cross bores, find structural faults and damages, and conduct lateral sewer line inspections.
lateral inspection & mapping
a lateral launch sewer inspection allows for a closed-circuit television (cctv) video inspection of pipes, including mainline and lateral pipelines, and is ideal involving situations that do not allow for a typical visual inspection. during the process, a pipe is inspected from the mainline to the lateral searching for cross bores, pipe defects and structural issues.

A storm drain, storm sewer, surface water canal/sewer, or storm sewer is an infrastructure designed to drain excess rain and groundwater from impassable surfaces. Paved streets, car parks, parking lots, footpaths, sidewalks, and roofs. Storm drains vary in design from small residential dry wells to large municipal systems.
Most motorways, freeways, and other congested roads, as well as towns in areas with heavy rainfall leading to flooding, and canals receive water from street gutters in coastal towns with normal storms. Channels from houses and buildings are also connected to the storm drain. Many storm drainage systems are gravity drains, which carry untreated sewage into rivers or streams so pouring hazardous materials into sewers is not acceptable. Storm drains can sometimes not withstand heavy rainfall or rainfall during storms. Inundated canals can cause basement and street flooding. Many areas require detention tanks inside the property, These temporarily stop the flow during heavy rains and limit the outlet flow to the open sewer. This reduces the risk of open sewage flowing. Some storm drains deliberately mix sewage in the case of sewers or accidentally mix it with sewage.
