ASTM A312 310sis a material used for general corrosive services and high temperature services for prolonged periods of time. The composition of the A312 Tp310s material includes carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur and chromium and nickel. The composition makes the material withstand highly oxidizing agents under high temperatures. However, the SA 312 Tp 310s has lower carbon than the standard version and this adds the pipes more toughness. In getting the comparison, the strength for high temperatures is reduced in the 310s Stainless Steel Pipe products.
