Battery cables are used in Original Equipment by India's leading vehicle manufacturers. Manufactured from electrolytic grade, bright annealed, bunched, bare copper conductors, these cables are insulated on state-of-the-art extruders with a special grade PVC compound that is formulated and manufactured in-house.
This PVC is impervious to water, petrol, diesel, acids, engine & lubricating oils and grease. It is ideally suited for extreme weather conditions. These cables undergo stringent quality checks during manufacturing process and at the final stage.
They are available in red and black colours in 25-metre and 100-metre coils / drums. These cables are also used in other applications where batteries are used, e.g. telecommunication, power, computers, etc. where the D.C. voltage does not exceed 100 volts.

PVC insulated winding wires are used as original equipment for winding of submersible pump motors. They are also used for rewinding of these motors. The special purpose PVC insulation enables these wires to operate under water over long periods.
The minimum insulation thickness is achieved through precision extrusion process so that insertion in stator slots is smooth and easy. Finolex has also developed higher sizes with multi strand copper conductors for higher HP Pump motors for specialized applications such as de-watering, mining and naval pumps.
LAN cable for indoor application consists of a solid bare annealed copper conductor of 24 AWG(0.5 mm), insulated with High Density Polyethylene compound, colour coded, paired as per colour combinations given in the table. Twenty-five such pairs are twisted together to form a laid up cable, a nylon binder is applied helically. The cable is jacketed with a special FR PVC compound. formulated and manufactured in-house which has high Oxygen and Temperature Index. The colour of the jacket is grey. The cable is ideal for use in vertical backbone structured cabling.
Finolex twisted paired cables are best suited for telephone and switchboard cabling applications. The conductor is made of solid annealed, high conductivity bare copper. The conductor is insulated with special grade high-density polyethylene with different colours.
