Shrink films are especially designed plastics, which on application of heat, shrinks on whatever it is covering. The heat can be applied through a heat-gun, or by passing them through a tunnel.
Shrink films have excellent barrier properties and prevent the material packed from dust or from getting wet, and is an economical means of packaging. Shrink films come in various thicknesses, strengths and shrink ratios depending on the requirement.
