The Academy is under license from Govt. of India & surrounderd by the boundaries of Indian Navy at Vizag. This academy is declared the best academy of India by the Central Govt. This is the biggest and oldest defence Academy has its own play ground, swimming pool, gym, A/c or non A/c hostel, mess for veg/non veg and North/South Indian foods.
