We offer water soluble demulsifiers. the product is a water-soluble demulsifier (wsd) suitable to break the most difficult water-in-oil or oil-in-water emulsions. Reclaimed oil, refinery crudes, and slops often contain emulsions which have been stabilized by inorganic impurities, viscosity stabilizers, etc. Oil recovered from tank cleaning operations often contains emulsifiers that can make conventional separation processes completely ineffective. Olklin-wsd-50 destabilizes the oil-water interface that surrounds each water particle in the emulsion, replaces the emulsifier molecules (if any), and allows the water to coalesce. The process is heat catalyzed at 66c (150f). Using this moderate heat speeds the destabilization and, reduces the viscosity of the oil, promoting the rapid separation of the water by gravity or centrifugation.
